2008 - A quieter year......After several busy years of post retirement , we have settled for a quieter year in 2008, not traveling as much but still deeply involved with the local community. It is amazing to realize that we have now lived in Bellingham for twenty five years, longer than anywhere else and obviously our adopted home. Bruce is strongly committed to the economic development and welbeing of the area, serving in several leadership capacities. Patricia continues to keep herself fit and fully socially occupied. We have both played a lot more golf this year, taking advantage of living next to a championship golf course along with all the other resort activities here at Sudden Valley. We are hoping that the rapid growth of nearby cities like Seattle and Vancouver will not impact our community too much and we will remain just a quiet university town just a little longer.

Social life still going strong....

We are blessed with many friends and enjoy their company in different styles. In the late summer an informal group of us set off on one of our traditional weekend sports car road trips, which culminated in watching one of our group racing his Sunbeam Tiger at the Mission Vintage Races. We have also attended several Car Shows and the old E-type continues to do us proud.
