Welcome to the Jaguar section of this site where we celebrate the ownership of these fine classic cars and especially the many and sometimes particular friends we have gained in the process. These pages are planned to provide some personal insights and experiences of classic Jaguar ownership, restoration and event participation.

New for 2019: I am pleased to report that 'The Jaguar Connection' has been extended to include my new next generation social media site, 'The Jaguar Connection Group' on MEWe.com. You can explore and join this new group here.

It has always amazed me just how much mutual help and support Jaguar friends or even just fellow enthusiasts provide each other. One needs to go no further than one of the many mailing lists like Jag-Lovers or the Jaguar Enthusiast's Club Technical Articles to appreciate the outstanding sharing of information and advice that takes place between Jaguar owners and aficionados. In the pictures above you see left, my 'E'-type Coupe (See the "Ravensbourne Project"). Above right is my supercharged XKR Coupe, (note the twin louvers on both bonnets, the XKR being the only other Jaguar since the'E'-type to have this special feature). Both of these cars have been recently replaced with the Jaguar XF, V6 supercharged below.

2014 XF Sedan, V6 supercharged This newest car came from the Seattle Jaguar dealership and has turned out to be the compromise I had been looking for between the two previous models I had owned, (XKR Coupe and Vanden Plas). Dignity with speed, an updated motto of 'Grace, Space and Pace', that famous Jaguar slogan. The V6 engine with supercharger is the perfect combination for speed and moderate fuel consumption, (Jaguar make two other engine sizes, neither of which appealed to me). The interior is comfortable, the features extensive and readily accessible.While it would have been nice to have all wheel drive, I nevertheless like this car!

Goodwood, Hampshire, England, 16th to 18th of September 2011. Home of the Earl of March and Kinrara. Three days of reasonable weather, fabulous vintage and classic international sports cars racing on a famous circuit. An Air Disply including 15 WW II Spitfires. Celebrating the eighty second birthday of Sterling Moss and also Fifty Years of the 'E'-type. Joined by four other enthusiast couples from Bellingham, All of the above and more contributed to making this year's Goodwood Revival a truly memorable occasion.
