In our third
year of living in two homes three thousand
miles apart, sequentially closing one down for six months at a
time to live in the other, we finally decided this summer to sell
the condo in Hawaii and move back full time to Sudden Valley.
The economic impracticalities together with higher levels of airport
security causing more arduous travel conditions were certainly
both factors. However, being close to family and friends here
in the Pacific Northwest were the major contributors to our decision.

So here we are back in Sudden Valley, once again enjoying the four seasons of the year instead of constant sunshine and temperatures in the high eighties! Getting
acclimatized to the first real winter in three years will be interesting.
So far, we are both fit and well. Patricia still walks about five to six
miles most every day with two of her friends. We now plan to take
some interesting vacations in search of the sun during the winter
months.
